A Team Player for Pekin.
A Leader for Our Future.
Vote Chris Onken for City Council.
Issues
Keeping Taxes in Check
Chris Onken believes Pekin residents are already taxed enough. That’s why he opposed increasing the city’s property tax levy—because keeping taxes low helps families and attracts new businesses.
Prioritizing Public Safety
A strong defense wins games—and keeps our community safe. Chris Onken fully supports local law enforcement and will continue making funding for the Pekin Police Department a top priority to ensure officers have the resources they need.
Growing Pekin’s Economy
Chris Onken is committed to bringing new jobs and opportunities to Pekin. By keeping property taxes low, he’s working to make our city more attractive to businesses and drive economic growth. Just like in basketball, a strong offense is key to success—and that means investing in smart policies that move Pekin forward.
I love this community. I chose to serve on the City Council because I believe in Pekin’s potential. Great teams win when they work together, and I want to keep Pekin on the right path by making smart, team-driven decisions. I believe in transparency, accountability, and an open-door policy—because good leadership means listening to the people. I humbly ask for your support to continue serving Pekin.
